Salt Chlorinator HL12 makes chlorine out of ordinary table salt.
The easy and effective way to control the chlorine in your pool water. Pahlén´s new developed automatic Chlorinator HL12 makes all the difference when it comes to quality of the water, economic use of chemicals, monitoring and maintenance.
With the use of ordinary table salt (sodium chloride) direct into your pool water, you make your own chlorine for your swimming pool or spa. It takes 4 kg of salt to every m³ of pool water.
The chlorine is produced in the most effective way when the dissolved salt passes through the titanium plates in the chlorinator. The chlorinator is installed inline which means directly in the water flow. The pool maintenance is reduced as the salt is recycled continuously. With conventional chemicals in the pool you have to refill the chlorine at regular intervals. The production of chlorine is made on continuous basis which gives a stable water quality and makes the supervision of the pool water not needed when for example leaving for vacation.
The salt makes the skin smooth and the water crystal clear. Furthermore the special handling and storage of chemicals are eliminated.
Unlike traditional chlorinators the electrodes on Pahlén HL12 and HL 25 are self-cleaning through pole-changing after 4 hours in operation. This prolongs the life cycle of the titanium electrode cells.
The chlorine production level is shown in the LED display and the level can be controlled between 0-100% on the control panel. The chlorinator continuously measures the salt level, that can be read in the display. It has a built-in flow switch and alarm for a low salt content and consumed electrodes.
Control of the unit can also be done by connecting an external measurement device. When using the Pahlén HL12 or HL25 in combination with a Pahlén measuring unit you minimize the risk of overchlorination by incorrect dosing, which can result in discoloured swim wear, red eyes and irritated skin.
It is possible to chock chlorinate (100%) for a limited time.
It is easy to install, to manage and use. It fits any new and existing swimming pool.
