Efficient and economical heat pump

Heat pumps exploit the energy in the air, are effective and energy-efficient, easy to install and take up little space near the pool. They are equipped with a quiet rotation compressor for optimal efficiency rating, minimal vibration and long service life. Digital control includes several functions and permits easy setting of pool temperature. The materials used in the heat pump are designed to withstand the harsh Nordic climate. The casing is made of thermoplastic and the condenser, the heat exchanger, is made of titanium.

Pahlén Aqua HP is a heat pump intended for heating of swimming pools or spa pools. It uses the heat in the surrounding air, transferring it efficiently via a heat exchanger to the pool’s water. Pahlén uses a combination of optimized components such as a heat exchanger, gas, refrigerant, valves and software to obtain a particularly high efficiency rating or C.O.P. (Coefficient of Performance).

Aqua HP is a highly effective and energy-efficient alternative, whereby electricity costs can be up to six times lower compared with electric heating. In optimum conditions, 1.8 kW of electricity consumption can provide up to 11.2 kW of heat in your pool. The compressor, which is the very heart of the heat pump, is made to the highest standards to ensure maximum power output, a long service life and a low noise level, all of which adds up to economical and disruption-free operation.

Aqua HP is the most compact heat pump on the market. With its attractive and straightforward design, it takes up little space and blends in with its surroundings without standing out. The outer casing is made of robust thermoplastic, which is easy to keep clean and does not rust. It is always economical to cover the pool when it is not in use, especially at night. About 60-70% of the heat is dissipated via the pool’s water surface. Covering the pool also reduces the heat pump’s operating time.
