Pahlén AB has acquired the business operation of Pool-Guard Inc AB

Pahlén becomes the leading manufacturer of automatic pool covers in Sweden.

Pahlén has acquired the business operation of Pool-Guard Inc AB, leading Swedish manufacturer of automatic safety covers for swimming pools and industrial use. 

The acquisition widens the Pahlén product range and strengthens Pahlén´s position in the market as a manufacturer of high quality pool equipment. PoolGuard was introduced to the market in 1973 and is an automatic pool cover operated by the water circulation system of the pool.

 

PoolGuard is today the only pool cover that complies with the safety regulations for pools in Sweden. Besides being a safety cover PoolGuard also reduces the heating costs of a pool with up to 80%. More than 15.000 PoolGuard covers has been installed, mainly in private pools.

The acquisition of PoolGuard is a part of Pahlén´s long term strategy to create a safe, energy efficient and trouble free pool ownership. PoolGuard complies with the pool owner´s requirements for a pool safety cover of today, says Hans Ericson, President of Pahlén.
