Sales information/RMA (Return merchandise authorization)

General terms and conditions

The supplier, Pahlén AB, guarantee the function and operation of all goods supplied to the original purchaser for a period of one year from the date of delivery. This guarantee is applicable as follows. Pahlén AB undertake, at their discretion, to either replace or repair any faulty item, or, under certain conditions, reimburse the original purchaser. Under no circumstances can the supplier accept responsibility for loss or damage, either direct or indirect, incurred by the purchaser. This guarantee only applies if the purchaser has paid for the goods in full, that he has complied with the conditions specified in the purchase contract, and that the goods have only been used under normal conditions and for their intended purpose in accordance with the suppliers instructions. All claims under this guarantee must be made in writing to the supplier within one year from the date of delivery.

Price list and export

Prices in this list are valid for orders and delivery until the issue of a new price list. The prices quoted do not include Value Added Tax or any other taxes and levies, which may be imposed. In the case of events of a Force Majeure character, faulty deliveries from subcontractors or a significant change of the exchange rate, that may effect the agreed prices and the carrying out of the delivery, the price applicable is that which is valid on the day of delivery. In these circumstances the purchaser will be informed so that he has the possibility to cancel or amend the order. Export orders may be subjected to a surcharge for packing and the prices do not include customs duties, insurance, landing or agent fees, or any other related charges.

Terms of delivery and packing

All deliveries are ex works from our factory in Upplands Väsby, Sweden, unless other arrangements have been agreed. In certain cases there can be an extra charge for packing and for the transport of chemicals (hazardous goods).

Delivery times

Normal stock items are delivered within two weeks of ordering, subject to prior sales. The delivery time for other goods to special order is subject to agreement. Partial deliveries may be made, if the purchaser does not expressly wish otherwise.

Terms of payment

If payment in full has not been received on the agreed date of payment, the supplier will be entitled to penalty interest. The goods remain in the ownership of the supplier until payment has been made in full.

Transport

The carrier is responsible for the goods according to his terms of responsibility and until the goods is delivered. The purchaser must note any damage or loss before the goods is accepted and report this to both the carrier and the supplier within 7 days.

Claims

All claims with respect to a delivery must be made within 7 days from receipt of the goods. A written claim must be made to the supplier including information regarding order date and invoice or order number. All claims must be agreed in writing by the supplier and all goods is returned at the cost of the purchaser.

Returns

All returns must be approved by the supplier. For approved returns there is a charge of 15% of the full value of the goods for control and handling, providing that the goods is returned unused and undamaged. Return carriage charges are the responsibility of the purchaser. Before returning any goods always contact us for a return number for the items involved.

Acceptance delays

If the purchaser cannot accept the goods at the agreed delivery date, then – on condition that the goods are ready for delivery – the order shall be assumed completed and the purchaser be responsible for payment. The supplier however, is responsible for temporary storage of the undelivered goods if space permits. The supplier may make a reasonable charge for this storage calculated according to the circumstances. During this storage period the supplier will accept no responsibility whatsoever for the goods in question.

Disputes

Any dispute between the supplier and the purchaser regarding an order does not release the purchaser from his responsibility for payment according to the agreement. Any dispute between both parties to an agreement shall be decided by an arbitrator or a civil court of law.

Reservations

We reserve the right to make changes in the construction, dimensions, and characteristics of items within this price list without previous notice. We accept no responsibility for printing errors or omissions in the price list.



Instructions for RMA form

If you have agreed with a sales agent at Pahléns Fabriker AB that you can return a product, (warranty issue, repair, incorrect ordering, etc.) the agent will give you an RMA number. Fill in the RMA form which can be downloaded from the link below. Send a copy with the product. Don’t forget to put the RMA number on the packaging and the product.

When you fill in the form it is extremely important always to describe in detail what is wrong and how the fault can be observed.The more detailed the information, the quicker the issue can be dealt with. Do not use general expressions such as “faulty”. Returned products must be properly packaged. Pahléns Fabriker AB will not compensate you for damage due to inadequate/defective packaging.
